Robert and Carolyn Smith opened the first Smith Supply Co. in 1968 in Smithville, Texas to provide a much needed service to the community by stocking fencing, hardware and livestock feed. We remained a single store business until 1982 when Robert saw an opportunity to open a second location in Lockhart, Texas. The two stores continued to grow and expand their inventory in order to better serve the communities in which they are located. In early 1999 we opened a third store in Luling, Texas which allowed us to make better purchases and expand our inventory even more.

Today we carry multiple lines of products, including hardware, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, culverts, fencing, water storage tanks, septic tanks, water pipe, steel, livestock feed and much more.

We are a family owned business and, while having grown in size, still hold that small town friendly relationship with our customers. Our goal is treat you as a friend and for you to feel welcomed when you visit us.
